For my October bullet journal theme this year, I decided to go with a cute ghost theme. When I think of October, I immediately go to Halloween. However, I was busy this month so I wanted to go with something a little simpler and easy to create. I came up with a ghost theme. The ghosts are small with some cute expressions. I adore them!

Though I love the Halloween season, I’m not ashamed to say that I am a complete scaredy-cat. I tend to stick with the nicer aspects of Halloween (like candy and children’s movies) instead of the scarier things. So I thought of little ghosts. This theme turned out really cute, while still incorporating Halloween. Check out my October bullet journal theme so that you can have a cute Halloween theme too!

Cover Page

The October bullet journal cover page was created using large bubble letters in the centre of the page. The title was outlined with two black lines and orange background. To incorporate the ghosts into the cover page, I added them around the title. They are randomly drawn to make the spread look pretty. I’m really happy with how this spread turned out!

(P.S.: I noticed afterward that I forgot to fill in the R in October on this spread. I forgot a couple of spaces on my water/step tracking spread as well. Oops!)

Calendar

The calendar for this month is basically the same as last month. (You can check out my September spreads here.) I used the whole page for the spread to get as much space to write as possible. I used lines at the top of each week to write the numbers. Finally, the letters of the days of the week are written in bubble letters like the title on the cover page. I like to keep my calendar as practical as possible.

Daily Highlights

For my daily highlights, I kept it simple. I wrote the numbers of the month over an orange line on the side of the page. I wrote “daily” all in capital letters with overlapping letters to give it a creepy feel. “Highlight” is written with bubble letters but instead of the orange background, I coloured the letters in with orange. Lastly, I drew some little ghosts on the side of the title to include the theme.

Water and Steps Tracker

I love to include a water and step tracker in my monthly bullet journal spreads! Like the cover page, I added the title in bubble letters with an orange background outlined by black lines. For the tracker part, I used 31 little ghosts; one for each day. Each ghost has some space to write in how many cups of water I drank that day and how many steps I took. Besides each of the ghosts, I put numbers for the days of the month. It turned out so cute!

Habit Tracker

In my habit tracker this month, I decided to go with a sideways tracker with a square for each day of the month. I put increments of 5 in the boxes (instead of writing in all the numbers) to make it easier to track my habits. The titles for the habits are all written in that creepy writing with overlapping letters. I really love how it looks! The title of the spread is in bubble letters coloured in orange. Little ghosts are on the side of the tracker to include the theme.

Weekly Spread

Because I didn’t want to make another page for a few extra days, I put the first and second week into one spread. I used squares for each day. The days are written with the same overlapping font as before. I added little squares into the boxes to provide a place to write my tasks. A few cute ghosts were also added to this spread. I get plenty of space for each of my to-do lists while also having a cute design!
