I am happy to announce that the Disney movie Encanto is one of the most popular movies out there right now. The songs and the movie are a hit! A few months before Encanto came out, I saw the trailer and I have been anticipating it ever since. I saw it in theatres soon after it was released and it lived up to my expectations! So great! Because of that, I decided to do an Encanto bullet journal theme.

I wanted to incorporate one of my new favourite movies into my bujo, but It took me a while to figure out how to make Encanto into a bullet journal theme. I’ll admit that I am not the greatest artist. Though I would have loved to draw the characters, it wouldn’t have turned out that well. So I went with elements of the movie instead of the characters. Let’s see how it turned out!

Supplies

Here are all the supplies I used this month:

Encanto Bullet Journal Cover Page

For the cover page, I wanted to have a big statement piece. There is so much colour in the movie, which means I’ll have lots of colour in my spreads. My first page might be simple but it does make a punch!

One of my favourite parts of the house, or Casita, is the butterfly wall. It’s so pretty! Because butterflies are an important part of the movie, I thought it would make a perfect cover page.

It was easy to glue the title of the spread above that! I used the Encanto font for most of my spreads’ titles. And I love them so much! It worked out great!

Encanto Daily Highlights Spread

Daily highlights spreads are great! They help me to stay positive. So I wanted this spread to be amazing! And it is, if I can say so myself.

My daily highlights spread is inspired by Isabela Madrigal, Mirabel’s older sister. She has the ability to grow flowers and plants, though she mostly grows roses and pink flowers.

(Spoiler Alert!!)

Isabela flourishes into her gifts and discovers that she can also grow other plants, like cacti and palm trees.

The spread has both the pink flowers she grows at the beginning of the movie and the plants she discovers during her song with Mirabel. This spread turned out so bright!

Lastly, I added the title of the spread with the same Encanto font. I love how this page turned out!

Encanto Calendar Spread/ Habit Tracker

I went simple for the calendar spread. I stuck with the Encanto colours from the title and added them to other elements on the page. In this spread, I used blue, green, yellow, and orange to highlight the different days of the month.

I added a quote from “All of You,” the song at the end of the movie. Love it! There was already a lot of blue and green so I added a little bit of extra orange and yellow. “Miracles” and “You” have a nice gradient in those colours.

A big theme in the movie was butterflies. I wanted to incorporate them this month, so they ended up on this page.

This spread is simple but I like it!

Encanto Water Tracker Page

It took me forever to figure out how to do my water tracker this month. I had a hard time finding something in the movie that would work for this. Finally, I landed on the broken prophecy pieces.

My water tracker is a little unique this time. Instead of writing in the amount of water I had to drink that day (measured in cups), I have a shard of the prophecy designated for the numbers between 4 and 8. On average, I drink 4-6. So the numbers work for me.

When I drink a certain amount of water, I’ll simply add the designated prophecy piece under the number of the day.

I’m excited to see how this spread works out. Simple but fun!

February Budget Spread

Now, here’s where I went wrong. I wanted to add a spread dedicated to Pepa but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted to. Oh well…

I used the same title font as the previous spreads, which looks okay. The paper ran out of room to write budget so I went with the dollar sign instead.

I added a quote from “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” the song I can’t get out of my head. (Even the mention of the title can get the song stuck in my brain.)

To incorporate Pepa, I added a little rainbow and a rain cloud.

I used the same orange and yellow font from the calendar spread. Sadly, it doesn’t work quite as well here.

I’m still going to be using this spread, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted this time. There is always room to grow!

Encanto Weekly Spread

Bruno is one of the best characters, if not my favourite, in Encanto. I love including him in my spreads! So this page has the stone from Bruno’s tower that tells Mirabel that her future awaits.

I’m gonna be honest. The weekly spread is where I write out all my tasks for the day and the week, so I thought I was pretty clever to put this stone here!

The days of the week have the Encanto colours to keep with the colours from the other spreads. I like how it turned out!

There you have it: my Encanto-themed bullet journal set-up! I love the movie but the spreads didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted them to. Hopefully one of you can create something wonderful. Let me know what your themes for February are in the comments!
