A few years ago, I created a mountainscape July bullet journal theme. I loved how much it turned out, so I thought I would give the mountainscape theme another try. Additionally, when I paint, I usually like to paint mountains and lakes, so it felt nice to pay an homage to that too.

Last month, my bullet journal set-up was very colourful. (You can check it out here!) So many blues, oranges, and greens! It made me want to make more colourful spreads. This month, I used different colours but wanted that same vibrant look. Luckily, the colours I chose were perfect for what I wanted! Let’s get into it!

Cover Page

The cover page is usually my favourite spread to create and this month was no different! I love this cover page! I wanted a beautiful sun at the top of the page. To create it, I used 2 yellows and orange to separate each element of the sun. I left some space to add the month’s name right next to the sun.

The next level of the spread is the mountains. I didn’t want the mountains to be too dark so I went with some bright purples and a light grey. I left some space between each mountain because I thought it would look better with markers. I’m not a huge fan of the markers blending if it isn’t on purpose.

Lastly, I have the water level. I made them in a gradient from dark to light blue. I added some spaces between the water just like I did with the mountains.

Calendar

To keep with the theme from the cover page, I chose to continue the doodles from the previous page onto this one.

Every spread is created based on the levels from the cover page. The sun colours are used at the top of the page. The mountain colours are for the middle of the page. And finally, the water colours are for the bottom of the page.

The lettering at the top of the calendar is done in orange. The calendar lines are done in the same grey as the mountains. I did my numbers for the calendar in the purple/pink mountain colour.

Daily Highlights Spread

For my daily highlights spread, I used the sun with a cut-out part to include the title. I used grey and purple lines to separate the days of the month. The numbers are done in the purple/pink colour.

Lastly, I have the water at the bottom of the page.

Water Tracker

My water tracker looks very similar to my cover page. I have the sun, the mountains, and the water. However, I left more space for the water layers this time. I added the numbers of the days in the white space. I plan to write the number of cups I had each day in the blue space.

This water spread looks great! I’m thrilled with how it turned out!

Habit Tracker

I did a similar thing with this spread as I did with the previous one. I copied some of the designs from the cover page but added more space in the water layers to have my habits. When it comes to the title, I also decided to have it and the sun in the middle of the page to spice it up a little bit.

I’ve been slacking on my bullet journal a little lately. So I went back to the basics. I picked 4 habits to track. Hopefully, it makes it easier to track my habits this month.

Budget Tracker

The title of the spread is a sun similar to the ones in the other spreads for my July bullet journal theme. “Budget Spread” is written in the same orange as the other pages.

I used the same mountain colours for the lines and the writing for my columns. Simple but efficient!

Weekly Spreads

I went pretty big for my weekly spread this month! I made a similar layout to the cover page with the sun, the mountains, and the water. This page is only different because I added little boxes for the days of the week.

Each little box is in the colours of its layer. The ones at the top are in orange. The mountain’s colours follow and so on. It’s so colourful and bright! I love it!
