The Christmas season is, in my opinion, the best time of year! And I know plenty of you agree with me. It makes me so happy to finally be able to sing Christmas carols without getting glared at! And to make this Christmas just that much more special, here are some great Christmas bullet journal spreads! It’ll be wonderful to have some Christmas spirit in your journal this year. Enjoy!
Christmas Cover Pages
In my opinion, the cover page is one of the most important spreads each month. It introduces the theme and gives you plenty of space to be creative. I love being able to draw a larger picture at the beginning of each month. It sets the vibe for the entire month, which is why this page is special.
I have made many Christmas cover pages in the past. Here are a few examples:
Quote Pages
Quote pages are great for the Christmas season. First of all, there are so many amazing quotes that motivate us to get into the Christmas spirit. Anything having to do with giving and family always makes me want to start Christmas shopping for my loved ones.
A quote in your journal can also make your bullet journal more personalized. When you include a quote that you choose in your journal, it makes it that much more special. It speaks more to your Christmas experience.
Christmas Bucket List
What kind of list would this be without a Christmas bucket list?! Every Christmas, there are plenty of things that I have to do to make it feel like that time of year. I need to watch my favourite Christmas movies, decorate the tree, play in the snow, and lots more. I am sure you have similar traditions, which is a great reason to have a Christmas bucket list.
You can have all of your Christmas activities that you want to do in one place. Your bucket list is the perfect place to have all your must-dos for the season!
Christmas Wish List
Every Christmas season, you get that dreaded question. “What do you want for Christmas?” All year, you’ve wanted things but as soon as someone asks you that question, you blank completely and have nothing to say. The best way to fix this problem is to be prepared in advance.
All year, I like to keep a list of all the things I want. That way at the end of the year I have a prepared answer to the question. You can be just as ready with a Christmas wish list of your own!
Brainstorm
Christmas can be kind of hectic. Everyone is scrambling to plan Christmas dinners, get gifts, and so much more. It might be my favourite time of year but it is also the busiest. With so much going on, our thoughts can be equally as scattered as our plans.
A brainstorming page is perfect for all those extra thoughts that come with this season. You’ll soon enough be needing a place to keep those thoughts so you don’t forget them.
Christmas Countdown
Who doesn’t already countdown the days until Christmas? (Scrooge, that’s who!) Why not keep your Christmas countdown right in your bullet journal?
It doesn’t matter how you countdown to Christmas as long as you have the numbers for the day. Personally, I think Christmas string lights make for the perfect countdown. You just need to fill in the bulbs with colours.
Christmas Movie List
Out of all the Christmas bullet journal spreads in this list, I think this one is my most important. Christmas in my family means spending time together, especially watching movies. We always spend December going through the movies we rewatch every year. Elf, The Polar Express, etc. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without those movies.
That’s why I love to have a movie list for this time of year. I wouldn’t want to miss any of them! A list makes it easy to track which ones we have already seen and which ones still need to be watched.
Gift Tracker
It’s almost impossible to keep track of all the gifts you need to get for everyone else. You might have only one person to buy gifts for or a few dozen people but either way, it’s not easy to keep track of your ideas and the gifts you have already bought.
A gift tracker is perfect for you! You can write down all the ideas you have for your loved ones. By doing that, you can also create a system to indicate which ones you purchased already. It’s a great spread for this time of year.
Christmas Card List
This year, I decided to create and send out Christmas cards to my family. I don’t usually send out cards but with the pandemic keeping us apart for so long, I thought it might be a nice gesture. However, I will definitely need a list of all the people I need to send cards to and their addresses because I will forget.
That’s why I created a Christmas card list this year. If you like to send out cards, a list can help you to organize all of your card recipients as well as all the information you need.
Christmas Memories
To finish off this list of Christmas bullet journal spreads, we have a page for all your Christmas memories. Christmas is a special time of year where you get to spend time with family, open and give presents, and all those other things. Having those memories written down somewhere is the perfect way to allow those memories to live on. You can go back and read them again to regain your happy feelings from your experiences.
If writing those memories down isn’t for you, you can always include pictures on this page instead. As long as it reminds you of the wonderful Christmas you’ve had, you are golden!
Christmas is my favourite time of year. You get to sing Christmas carols, spend time with family, get and give presents, and so many more wonderful things. Yet, Christmas can also get a little chaotic. Bullet journals can help take away some of the stress caused by that chaos. A little organization never hurts anyone, so here are some great Christmas bullet journal spreads that you will love this season!
