I have wanted to do an underwater/coral reef theme in my bullet journal for a while now. However, I was afraid that I couldn’t pull it off. It’s a theme with a lot of colours and details. Finally, I put those doubts aside. My June bullet journal theme is underwater!

Something about the colours just called to me. I was aiming for lots of pop in this theme and I think it worked out in my favour! Blue, turquoise, green, orange and more. My underwater theme is enchanting. I’m excited to be sharing it with you!

Cover Page

The cover page is perfect for my June bullet journal theme! I went with some different coloured blue coral on the left side of the page and some pink/orange coral on the right. I wanted more colour, so I added some greenery and some seaweed too.

My cover page still needed a little more. I went with a cute little fish and a turquoise background to give the idea that the whole scene is underwater.

Even with all of these beautiful doodles, the title is still my favourite thing on this page! I decided to make a gradient from turquoise to teal. It looks amazing!!

Last but not least, I drew some bubbles to help fill the page and to pull in the theme in the next spreads.

I hope you like this spread! I know I do!

Calendar

Usually, the cover page is my favourite spread but my calendar just screams perfect to me this month!

I almost exclusively use black lines in my spreads. It helps pull the spreads together. But this month, I didn’t want to bring down the bright colours of the spread with dark lines. Instead, I used the same green from the greenery on the cover page to create my lines. It helped to lighten up the page!

I used the same sand, blue coral, and pink coral at the bottom of the page from the previous spread.

The same title can be found on this page too. I kept the letters of the weekdays in the light blue and turquoise.

There’s something about this spread that just makes me happy!

Daily Highlights Spread

This spread needed to be kept pretty simple because I needed lots of space for my daily highlights.

I used the same lettering and colours as the previous pages for my title. It still looks great! To pull in the theme, I added some bubbles around the title.

A line of sand was added at the bottom of the spread to help tie in the theme. I accidentally used the wrong colour though, so it might look a little different from the other spreads. Oops!

Lastly, I used a light turquoise on every other line to help me organize my highlights later on.

Water Tracker

My water tracker for my June bullet journal theme incorporated lots of bubbles. This month, I decided to write in the number of cups I had to drink that day. Each bubble has space for the amount of water I had that day.

The bottom of the page is very similar to my cover page. I drew the same blue coral on the left and the pink coral on the right. There is still a layer of sand and some greenery too.

Again, the title has the same lettering and gradient as the previous spreads.

I love how this turned out!

Habit Tracker

I have seven habits to track this month. I wanted to make the most of my space this time. Sometimes I have way too much extra space on my habit tracker page but this time, I spread them out.

I used little circles for each day of the month. They simply need to be filled in when I accomplish my habits.

The same blue and pink coral are at the bottom of the spread. Some bubbles can be found around the title too.

The green and light blue from the cover page are incorporated into the titles of the habits and the days of the week.

Budget Spread

Lastly, I have my budget spread for June. I try to keep this spread relatively simple every month to allow for space, which is what I did this time.

For the last time, I used the same title for this spread. However, I changed it up a little bit this time. I wanted more space at the bottom of the page. I added the coral and the greenery next to the title instead of at the bottom of the page. There are some bubbles around the title too.

Like my calendar, I used my green marker to create the lines instead of a black marker. It lightens the page and looks great! I hope you like how it turned out too!

June bullet journal theme

There you have it! My June bullet journal theme! Honestly, I am terrified of underwater things, especially sunken ships. So creepy! It felt nice to create this theme and take back some of that fear. Sometimes you have to face your fears. I know this theme isn’t me conquering my fear but it does give me a little bit of strength. Little wins count too! I hope you liked this theme as much as I did. Let me know what your themes are in the comments section!
